The UMass Lowell Susan and Alan Solomont School of Nursing
General Summary of Position:
The UMass Lowell Susan and Alan Solomont School of Nursing seek 1 full-time, non-tenure track faculty members at the rank of clinical assistant professor. All faculty in the School are expected to engage in service to the School and College.
This position requires an on campus presence and faculty are expected to be present and engaged with the campus community. We seek applicants recognized for teaching expertise, clinical scholarship, ability to work with diverse populations, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
The appointment is scheduled to begin September 2024.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Candidates must hold an earned clinical doctorate in nursing (DNP), or a research doctorate in nursing (PhD) or a related field from an accredited institution. Candidates with a doctorate in a field other than nursing must have a master’s degree in nursing.
- Candidates must hold an active, unencumbered RN license and a Massachusetts RN license is required prior to the start of the employment
- RN experience in the United States
- Teaching experience in four-year University/College institutions
