Faculty
Assistant Professor of Nursing
SUNY Empire State College seeks to appoint a nursing faculty who will join the School of Nursing and Allied Health. The role of the faculty member is to provide high-quality services to students and to enhance the college's reputation within the community. Faculty will collaboratively design online courses; teach online core and elective courses; work closely with instructional designers; assess student learning and program outcomes and participate in community college partnerships. Central to the faculty role is helping adults from diverse cultural backgrounds design and complete degrees that meet their personal and professional goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing plus earned doctorate; ABD considered
- R.N. licensure (or eligibility) in New York State
- College-level teaching experience
- Excellent and effective communication, computational, and organizational skills
- Ability to work within a collaborative faculty environment
