We are currently recruiting a faculty member for Pre-RN-Licensure BSN Program Director who reports to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Education and is responsible for the traditional pre-licensure program.  This position collaborates with all undergraduate program directors as well as CON leadership.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate reviews of student progression issues in collaboration with Director of Academic Success; reviews policies pertinent to the undergraduate programs. Attend department, administrator and other relevant meetings.
  • Collect, analyze and report program-level information and outcomes assessment data as required (or requested) by the university, CCNE, New Mexico State Board of Nursing (NMBON) and other regulatory bodies and administrators.
  • Monitor and maintain program-related data for compliance with university and regulatory standards. Assist nursing administration with preparing and submitting data and compliance documents as required and requested.
  • Monitor student assessment, progression, attrition and degree completion data  
  • Monitor clinical placements in collaboration with Level Coordinators and Clinical Affairs office.  Ensure clinical placements comply with course objectives.
  • Lead curriculum review efforts on a regular basis to ensure consistency, comprehensiveness, relevancy and adherence to licensure requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions Committee and Admissions Office to facilitate recruitment initiatives and participate in enrollment efforts.
  • Provide input to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Education regarding faculty performance reviews as well as input related to the evaluation of staff, and graduate assistants
This is a full time 12-month appointment.  The selected applicant must commit to living in Albuquerque metropolitan statistical area.
