American Nurses' Foundation Grant


NBNA has launched a national evidence-based mentorship project funded by the American Nurses' Foundation (ANF) in partnership with John Hopkins School of Nursing.  The project is entitled, "Enhancing the Diversity of the Nursing Profession: Assessing the Mentoring Needs of African American or Black Nursing Students.  Their survey proposes to identify the facilitators, barriers and mentoring needs of African American Nursing students, in hope of  achieving successful matriculation and graduation from nursing programs.
