ELECTIONS AND AWARDS
The Nominating Committee seeks candidates
for the NBNA election. The membership will
elect a First Vice President, Second Vice President, Treasurer,
three (3) Board Members at-Large, and three (3) Nominating
Committee Members.
All NBNA members are encouraged to give utmost attention to this Nominating Committee call. Chapter presidents are asked to place this important item on the chapter's board meeting agenda. All members are asked to have serious deliberations about qualified and "proven-to-the-task persons" who have strong vision, leadership, people and communication skills.
The goal of the Nominating Committee
is to present to the NBNA membership a strong and complete
slate. Members of the Nominating Committee welcome any questions.
Each year, NBNA recognizes the achievements
of our outstanding members for their exemplary contributions
to their community, clinical practice, professional and/or
patient education, and their academic achievements. We recognize
these talented and gifted nurses at the Annual Institute
and Conference. All NBNA members are encouraged to submit
an application for themselves, or for an esteemed colleague.
CHAPTER ANNUAL AND FINANCIAL
REPORTS
As part of the credentialing process,
Annual Reports are required to be filed by the Chapters.
The deadline to submit your Annual Report to the National
office is March 31. Those Chapter Annual
Reports submitted after March 31st, WILL
NOT BE INCLUDED in the NBNA Book of Reports.
As in previous years, these reports will be published in
a complete report for our membership, and can be downloaded
from the NBNA Website in the “Members Only”
section. Therefore, it is extremely important that these
reports be submitted electronically.
