NBNA Conference 2008 The National Black Nurses Association will
hold it's 36th
Annual Institute and Conference in Las Vegas, NV, August
4-8, 2008 at the
The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Las Vegas, NV
will welcome over 1,000 NBNA attendees, including
nurses, student nurses, health professionals and health
industries and over 120
exhibiting companies. Our theme this year is
"Nursing Practice: The Prevention and Management of
Chronic Diseases". A wide variety of sessions are
scheduled for the four-day conference, offering our
members and attendees continuing education credits and a
variety of learning venues.
The NBNA Annual Institute and

ROOM RATES: The deadline date for making reservations at the
Mandalay Bay is 5:00 p.m. central time, July 2, 2008.
After that date, reservations will be accepted on a
space and rate availability basis. If the group rate is
not available, the Hotel’s rack rate will apply.
Room ratesare $199 for a single and $199 for a
double, triple, or quadruple occupancy, please add
$35 for each additional person. State and local sales
and occupancy tax of 9% per night will also be applied.
If you have any special needs or health conditions,
please notify the hotel when making your reservations
AND upon your arrival. Any change in your departure date
that is made after check-in will incur a $50 early
departure fee.
