CDC National Prevention Information Network                                  

The CDC National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) is the U.S. Reference, referral, and distribution service for information on HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) and tuberculosis (TB) sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  NPIN services are designated to facilitate the sharing of information and resources among people working in HIV, STD, and TB prevention, treatment, and support services.  Bilingual staff are available to speak with callers and all calls are confidential.

Children’s Medical Center of Dallas                                 

Children's Medical Center of Dallas is the only Dallas health-care facility that deals exclusively with a variety of diseases and disorders among children from birth to age 18.  A private, not-for-profit hospital, Children's is licensed for 348 beds and is the primary pediatric teaching facility for UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Services include renal transplant, dialysis, nephrology and urology.

 

CJW Medical Center                                    

CJW Medical Center is not just a community hospital. It is one of the largest facilities in the nation’s largest hospital system, HCA. With 748 beds and two medical campuses, CJW admits more patients, delivers more babies, and performs more heart surgeries than any other hospital in Richmond.  By combining the two campuses, Chippenham and Johnston-Willis, into one medical center, we have enhanced patient care. Each campus provides a wide range of services; Chippenham has a heart hospital and Tucker Pavilion, a behavioral health center, and Johnston-Willis has cancer, neuroscience, and rehabilitation centers. Both campuses have state-designated trauma centers. CYTYC's FirstCyteä Breast Test involves gently rinsing the inside of the milk ducts to collect cells.  The sample is then sent to a lab for analysis to determine whether the cells are normal, premalignant, or malignant.  Information about the condition of the cells inside a woman's breast enhances overall understanding of a woman's personal risk for developing breast cancer.

The National HIV/AIDS Clinicians’ Consultation Center provides telephone based clinical consultation services for health care professionals managing HIV/AIDS and occupational exposures to blood-borne pathogens. The Center operates the Warmline (1-800-933-3413) to provide consultation support for clinicians caring for persons with HIV/AIDS and the PEPline (1-888-448-4911) to support clinicians managing occupational exposures.
