Director, The Norman Knight Nursing Center for Clinical and Professional Development
As a key component of our Institute for Patient Care, the Norman Knight Center is responsible for the development and implementation of educational programs for nurses and support staff. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Institute, important aspects of the Director role include: strategic planning for The Norman Knight Center; oversight of orientation, training and continuing educational programs; clinical affiliations and student placement; and management of the staff, resources and budget of The Center.
Candidates will possess progressive, successful experience as a nurse leader with demonstrated expertise in program development and evaluation, the ability to establish partnerships in program management, along with the knowledge of state-of-the art technology and systems to promote a 24/7 learning environment. Experience in the development of adult learning programs is highly desired. Licensure as an RN along with a Bachelor’s and master’s degree (one of which must be in Nursing) are required; doctorial degree preferred.
